ㅤintroㅤ Hi! I would like to introduce myself as Aranea. I have a lot of characters that I have poured a lot of love into. My other character is Adelaide Vremaix. My previous name on this character was Thirteen Sentinels.

ㅤpersonalityㅤ Sociable, stubborn, spunky, and prone to tears of frustration. Cagalli is considerably rebellious. Her parents wanted a demure, elegant, and polite daughter however, much to their chagrin she is the complete opposite. Cagalli is easy to get along with but the more you get to know her, the more unusual she becomes.

ㅤbiographyㅤ Cagalli was born in Sharlayan. Her parents both left Sui-no-Sato while she was still in her mother's womb. Their traditions have been passed down to her however, she wants anything but to be like her parents. Cagalli began studies in Aetherology yet soon abandoned her ward to leave Sharlayan and began studying as an Arcanist in Limsa Lominsa eventually pouring her studies into the occult and summoning because of her latent ability to summon egi-primals. Cagalli is closely attuned to Alexander, her sensitivity to time and Mide's plight altered her world view forever. Cagalli's studies in Aetherology have also allowed her to detect and view aether when in reference to time much easier than others, strengthened by the gift of the Echo. She is also a widely respected Black Mage although you will mostly find her with her violet Carbuncle which she has affectionately named Kira. Although not immediately obvious she excels in close combat and is typically on recon for dungeoneering and information gathering in crypts and the like to study the unknown.

Cagalli is focused on her studies in Sharlayan. Her parents are pressuring her to figure out her life. Her resolve is faltering, she drops out after a couple years and leaves for Limsa only leaving a letter behind to her parents. She is unable to cope with their disappointment in person. At this point in time she is 19 years old.

arr

Cagalli is found hanging around the Arcanist Guild in Limsa Lominsa. She is currently a member of the guild and using her knowledge of the studies she learned in Sharlayan to crawl crypts and easy dungeons. She is growing bored. After a run in with Y'shtola and joining the Scions her life is changed as it is revealed she is the Warrior of Light. At this point in time she is 21 years old.

heavensward

After being ran out of Uldah into Ishgard, Cagalli struggles to acclimate to the new environment. Shortly after defeating Thordan, she finds herself lost in Alexander. She encounters Mide and spends a very long time inside with almost no time passing in the present. When she finally bumbles through the Soul of Alexander her aether is changed and is more sensitive to time, even allowing her to use some of his abilities albeit on a very small scale. at this point in time she is 23 years old.

Entering Doma is a very excruciating ordeal for Cagalli. She knows that she can't avoid her parents homeland any longer. Once she visits Sui-no-Sato she gains a small glimmer of her parents former life, and meeting her grandparents for the first time is incredibly emotional for her. Cagalli decides to finally visit her parents in Sharlayan, to apologize. At this point in time she is 25 years old.

shadowbringers

After harboring the light from Lightwardens Cagalli's scales change from typical pure white Raen scales to an unnatural pink color along with several changes to the anatomy of the scales. Once she returns from the first she ends up in the Weapon storyline and meets Athrun during the development of the G-Warrior. At this point in time she is 27 years old.

endwalker

Cagalli loves the unknown and everything that comes with it -- but when the very world she loves is about to be lost she puts away all her selfish desires. The countless years she has spent with the Scions has broadened her world view and made her care more about the people around her. Spending time in Elpis allows her to cherish the past and those who love her. At this point in time she is 29 years old.

post-EW

After the events of Ultima Thule Cagalli spends some time scouring dungeons until she is pulled to the Thirteenth. Here, Cagalli flourishes. She loves this - getting acclimated to the voidsent and Zero. She has to be reminded a couple times that they are here to save Azdaja and the Thirteenth. She will have all the time in the world later if she focuses. At this point in time she is 30 years old.

dawntrail

Cagalli readily accepts Wuk Lamat's offer to help her in the rite of succession. While helping her she enjoys the wonders of Tural. Eventually, she finds herself intertwined with Zoraal Ja. A relationship built on mutual dysfunction. Cagalli finds herself unsure of her position and at the precipice of Everkeep she makes a decision that hurts, but ultimately was required. From here she languishes until she meets Howling Blade, and falls into a whirlwind romance. At this point in time she is 31 years old.

Cagalli has the ability to summon Ifrit, Titan, Garuda, Bahamut, and Phoenix as a typical summoner. Although she cannot out right summon Alexander, her magic is imbued with time -- capable of using Alexander's Divine Judgement and brief Temporal Stasis.

healing

Cagalli is able to access healing magicks as a result of training with the White Mage guild in Gridania. It is not her specialty. She prefers the art of somanoutics, better known as Sage. Funnily, her parents are none the wiser - although they would love to know she kept something from home.

gem imbuing

Cagalli has access to high quality gems. She imbues them with egi-primals and they can take any form of precious gem depending on their affinity.

echo

Cagalli has the Echo as she is the Warrior of Light. After spending extended time in Alexander she has become more sensitive to time and is capable of discerning a bit more while in the middle of a vision. In actuality, it's not that useful.

insect pinning

Cagalli enjoys spending her off time insect pinning. She has had this hobby since her time in Sharlayan. Cagalli continues this practice to this day however she has much less time, being the warrior of light and all.

taxidermy

Cagalli spends some time with small animal taxidermy. She has been interested in this practice however, she does not have the time to make this a fully realized hobby. To this day she has only worked with rabbits and squirrels.

close combat

It does not look like it but Cagalli is proficient in hand to hand combat. She studied under the discerning eye of Oboro. Cagalli usually surprises people when she is on the frontlines and not adorned in her traditional garb.

perfumery

Cagalli loves scents and enjoys creating perfumes. She has created many for herself and often gifts those she really likes a perfume she thinks they would enjoy. No one actually knows how much effort she puts into this... it's very impressive if you notice.
